Our Crew Catering Service
Cornwall’s landscapes make it a natural choice for film and TV productions and we love to welcome them to our beautiful county. Long shoot days, changing schedules and unpredictable conditions mean crew catering needs to be absolutely reliable, which is where Kerra’s Catering and our crew catering come in.
We provide professional crew catering that keeps productions moving. From early call times to late wraps, our focus is on feeding cast and crew well, keeping everyone hydrated, energised and looked after throughout demanding days on location.
Good food matters on set. It sustains concentration, lifts morale and helps teams perform under pressure. We plan menus that are generous, nourishing and full of flavour, with plenty of variety to suit long runs and diverse dietary requirements. Food is served promptly and efficiently, so breaks stay on schedule and downtime is used well.
Kerra and her team are experienced in working within the realities of production life, adapting quickly to changing timings, weather or locations, and remaining calm and organised when plans shift. Whether it is a remote coastal shoot, a tight turnaround between scenes, or a high-pressure day with limited breaks, we are prepared, flexible and discreet.
Using high-quality local produce wherever possible, we deliver food that feels restorative rather than routine. From hearty breakfasts and satisfying hot meals to lighter options, snacks and constant refreshments, everything is designed to keep energy levels steady and spirits high.
Reliable, hardworking and quietly efficient, we understand that when the crew is well fed, the whole production runs more smoothly.

Commonly Asked Questions
Kerra’s Catering has been fuelling film, TV and production crews across the UK for years. Here’s what production managers and location teams ask us most.
1. Can you cater on location with no mains services?
Yes, this is our speciality. We are completely self-sufficient and do not require access to mains water, electricity or gas. Our unit is fully equipped to operate independently in remote locations, fields, coastal sites or anywhere a production takes us. If you can get your crew there, we can feed them.
2. How far will you travel?
We are available UK-wide. Based in Cornwall, we regularly travel to locations across the South West and throughout the Uk. Travel is factored into our quote just let us know where you’re shooting and we’ll confirm availability and costs.
3. Can you cater for a crew across multiple days or a long shoot?
Yes. We’re set up for sustained location work and can cater for day shoots, multi-day productions and longer projects. Menus are planned around shoot schedules and the practical realities of keeping a crew fuelled through long days on set.
4. Can you accommodate the specific dietary and nutrition needs of talent and crew?
Absolutely. Crew catering is a different proposition to event catering, and we understand that. We can cater for:
- High-protein, low-carb or high-carb requirements for talent on specific body or fitness programmes
- Endurance-focused nutrition for stunt performers, athletes or physically demanding roles
- All standard dietary requirements, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and named allergens
- Individual performer requirements where nutrition is part of a contract or training plan
We’re used to managing a wide range of requirements across a single crew and doing it quietly and without fuss. Share the brief with us and we’ll plan accordingly.
5. Is the food actually good, or is it functional catering?
It’s genuinely good. We believe that crews work better when they’re well fed, and that means proper food, not just fuel. We cook fresh, use quality ingredients and take pride in what comes out of the unit. Consistently good food, every day of the shoot.
